If you are looking for a Montenegro fishing licence, you have probably noticed that the process is not simple.
At the moment, Montenegro does not have an official nationwide online system for fishing licences as defined by the official Law on Marine Fisheries and Mariculture (Montenegro). Permits are still issued manually through authorized local fishing clubs.
To help tourists avoid confusion, delays, and language barriers, I provide a fishing licence assistance service. Apply for your fishing licence here.
How Fishing Licences Are Issued in Montenegro

In Montenegro Fishing licences are:
- printed as physical (hard copy) documents
- valid only for the selected period
- required to be carried while fishing
- checked by inspectors on the water or shore
There is no digital or PDF version accepted.
Because of this, every licence must be:
- requested in advance
- issued by an authorized club
- collected as an original document
